Well I had my morning coffee and now I’m into afternoon coffee. I’d rather blog early in the morning… but sometimes, you just can’t do what you really want to do.
Don’t get fussy but I went to two stores on Saturday. It’s true I wanted a sewing machine bad. Store #1 had my dream sewing machine on sale for $199.99. Store #2 (I won’t name any names) also had it on sale for $199.99.
I was feeling kind of lazy this morning and preferred to go online to look for a new sewing machine. So, I began my morning cup of coffee looking for my dream sewing machine.
Within 5 minutes, no mileage, no gas, no crowd, no taxes and no hassle I found my dream sewing machine! Walla!
So I’m sure you’re just chomping at the bit to know what I paid for it… Well here it is $130.95 plus $9.95 shipping, no taxes…and delivered to my door.
Woot Woot!
If my math is correct I saved $69.04. This will cover the cost of my husband’s Xbox! Yippee
Please do not think I am opposed to stores, malls, restaurants or any other brick and mortar establishment. They provide employment, goods and services and are crucial to our economy.
After seven years of selling online and five years owning a brick and mortar store, I know my overhead is less and I can pass on these savings to my customers.
Boutiques 4 Less simply buys in bulk and can pass the savings on to our customers.
